Bleach On Crunchyroll!!!: Crunchyroll just announced that it will stimucast Bleach on it's website. It will start with the latest (Japanese) episode, #274 and it will stimucast it on June 8, 2010. Borders losing mo' money: Borders a major book store and media outlet reports a 15 percent quarter sales lost, a net loss of about 64 million dollars. They closed 6 domestic stores, however on the bright side there is about a 6 percent increase in international store sales. It a darn shame for me because my "local" Borders has a huge ass Manga section and if it were to close down, I would have to drive to a different state next time I wanted some Manga.

Awesome People to Produce Awesome Cartoon: Remember Thundercats? Probably not but, like Transformers it's making an epic comeback. Thundercats a cartoon from the 80's appears to be going to be animated/produced by 4 degrees Celsius studio. To give you an idea of just how spectacular this new series is going to be, these guys animated/produced, Ben 10, Batman: The Brave and The Bold, Teen Titans, and even Avatar: the Last Airbender. If you hated any of these and argue they aren't real animes I have this flimsy response: could you do any better?

I cAn haZ mOar mangas?: Finally Viz Media plans ANOTHER North American Manga release of a series called Mardock Scramble. The series is described as (and I'm quoting someone on this) "A young prostitute named Balled...now a cyborg...chases down a variety of insane villains..." I'm not shortening the quote to put down the series or altering it to make it look stupid, quite literally that's what it said. Although I must admit a crime fighting prostitute cyborg, is still not half as crazy as other Manga or Animes I've seen...speaking of.

Incest? Oh your step-siblings...: In conclusion today there seems to be a plan of a Direct release of an anime called KissXSis which follows the "forbidden love" of a brother and his two step-sisters. They DVD which ships Friday will be episode the 5th episode but ironically call #4 since the pilot was called episode #0. It will also be bundled with the first print of volume #7 of the manga. My only issue is if having step-siblings in the same house be boyfriend and girlfriend was O.K. in Twilight, then I don't see how they make a big deal of it in this series. Then again, I'm the one who watched the entire Honey and Clover series.

Anime NEWS

Bestselling Manga of the week (according to the NY Times)
1. Black Butler #2
2. Black Bird #4
3. Pandora Hearts #2
4. Naruto #47
5. Black Butler #1

Graphic Novel Fail and Win: The Twilight Graphic Novel (ohhhh I'm a vampire gonna suck your blood slpslpslpslp and maybe something else...ooooohh! Big snaps for me!!!) is back to number one on the seperate hardcover best seller list, because Twilight fans don't have enough Twilight stuff to put their load on, meanwhile real graphic novels continue to be ma--...this just in there appears to be Maximum Ride graphic novels as well, but this series is actually good.

Heil Crunchyroll!: Crunchyroll is streaming yet another new anime: Lilpri which is basically Yu-Gi-Oh only imagine it being good, and having The Dark Magician Girl as every single character. Yu-Gi-Oh hentai fans, rejoice. The series created by Sega (remember when they created good games?) is based off of the Sega trading card game and the story revolves around three girls, namely Ringo Yukimori, Leila Takashori, Natsuki Sasahara, who can transform into idol princesses.

Rainbow (no homo) Online: Funimation and Nippon Television Network have reached an agree in the online streaming of "Rainbow - Nisha Rokubo no Shichinin" starting June 1, Tuesday one hour after it brodcast is Japan FUNimation will brodcast it online with English subtitles. NTV is one of the top brodcast networks in Japan so them in partnership is sort of like Bleach meets One Piece only not quite as awesome.

Anime Character of the Day: Shugo from .Hack//Legend of the Twilight
